Your avatar doesn’t have to sound generic. With the new Custom Voice feature, you can choose from preset styles, record your own, or upload a voice file — making every interaction feel more personal and unique. This FAQ will guide you through everything you need to know to get started.
1. How do I access Custom Voice?
- Tap the (+) Create Avatar button.
- Fill in your avatar details (name, gender, etc.).
- Under Voice, select one of the following options:
- Preset Voice
- Record Voice
- Upload Voice
2. What preset voices are available?
You can pick from a variety of preset voice styles such as Bright, Refined, Sweet, Warm, Cheerful, or Cool. Each option is designed to give your avatar a unique personality.
3. How do I record my own voice?
- Select Record Voice.
- Choose your preferred language (English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.).
- Record a short audio clip (5–20 seconds).
- Speak clearly in the selected language.
- Avoid background noise or multiple voice
4. How do I upload a voice file?
- Select Upload Voice.
- Choose the language of your audio file.
- Upload an audio clip (5–20 seconds).
- Make sure the file contains clear speech, without noise or overlapping voices.
5. Why do I need to select a language?
The language selection ensures your avatar processes and speaks in the correct language. If you upload or record in English, select English; if in Spanish, select Spanish, etc.
6. How long does it take for my avatar to process the voice?
Voice processing usually takes a few minutes. You’ll see a live activity card in the app and on your device notification tray showing progress in real time.
7. Can I change the voice later?
Yes! You can always go back to your avatar profile and update its voice — whether by choosing another preset, re-recording, or uploading a new file.
