This article explains how to check your subscription status and cancel your subscription. Please note that you need to manage your subscription through the same channel where you originally purchased it.
AI AVATAR subscriptions can be purchased through one of the following channels:
- App Store (in-app purchase on iPhone / iPad)
- Google Play Store (in-app purchase on Android)

1. How to check your purchase channel
Please confirm which channel you used to purchase your subscription.
Step 1. Check your receipt email.
Check the sender of the receipt email you received when you purchased your subscription.
- Sender is "Apple" or "iTunes Store" → Purchased through the App Store
- Sender is "Google Play" → Purchased through Google Play
- Sender is our company (AI AVATAR JAPAN) → Purchased through our online store or the AI AVATAR app
Step 2. If you cannot find the email, check on your device.
- For iPhone / iPad: Open the "Settings" app → tap "[Your Apple ID]" → select "Subscriptions".
- For Android: Open the "Google Play Store" app → tap the icon in the upper right → select "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions".

2. For purchases made through the App Store (check / cancel)
If you purchased through the App Store, your subscription is managed by Apple's system. You can check and manage it from your Apple ID.
How to check your subscription status
- Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone / iPad.
- Tap "[Your name (Apple ID)]" at the top of the screen.
- Select "Subscriptions".
- Select the relevant item from the list to view its details (plan, renewal date, price, etc.).
How to cancel
- Follow steps 1–4 of "How to check your subscription status" above.
- On the details screen, select "Cancel Subscription".
- When the confirmation screen appears, confirm the cancellation.
Note: Even after cancellation, you can continue using the service until the end of the period you have already paid for.

3. For purchases made through Google Play (check / cancel)
If you purchased through the Google Play Store, your subscription is managed by Google's system. You can check and manage it from your Google account.
How to check your subscription status
- Open the "Google Play Store" app.
- Tap the account icon in the upper right of the screen.
- Select "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions".
- Select the relevant item from the list to view its details (plan, renewal date, price, etc.).
How to cancel
- Follow steps 1–4 of "How to check your subscription status" above.
- On the details screen, select "Cancel subscription".
- Select your reason for cancellation, then confirm the cancellation on the confirmation screen.
Note: Even after cancellation, you can continue using the service until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Q1. Can I ask your team to check or cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store / Google Play?
Payments made through the App Store and Google Play are managed by Apple and Google respectively. We do not handle this payment information on our side. You will need to check or cancel your subscription from your own Apple ID or Google account.
Q2. I canceled my subscription, but I can still use the service. Why?
Even after cancellation, you can continue using the service until the end of the period you have already paid for. From the next renewal date onward, you will no longer be charged, and your access to the service will end at that time.
Q3. I can't find my order confirmation email. What should I do?
Please try the following:
- Check your "Spam" or "Promotions" folders in your email.
- You can check your current subscription details under "Settings" → "Apple ID" → "Subscriptions" on iPhone / iPad, or under "Payments & subscriptions" in Google Play.
- If you still cannot find it, please contact our support team.
